Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where are you?
I hire rooms at the CAPE Project 3 Montpelier Avenue Ealing W5 2XP. Please see map for details. This is about a ten/fifteen minute walk from Ealing Broadway station or it is very near to E2, E9 and 297 bus stops. There is free off-street parking outside the building and some on-road parking at certain times of the day.
2. How much do you charge?
I charge £60/session for counselling/psychotherapy. If you feel seeing a counsellor privately is too expensive for you, you could look at low-cost services such as EACS.
I charge £70/session for clinical supervision.
3. How long are the sessions and how many would I have?
A counselling session lasts 50 minutes and is usually offered weekly, although some people choose to attend fortnightly. The total number of sessions depends very much on how they go. Some people decide they can stop after just a few, some stay much longer. It will always be up to you to work out if you wish to continue to attend counselling. Supervision is offered as a 60 minute session and supervisees generally attend monthly.
4. When do you work?
I can offer various appointments during the day and in the evening. Please contact me for further details.
4.How do I pay?
You pay after each session, usually by bank transfer.
5. How do I know what I say will remain confidential?
Trained counsellors and psychotherapists work according to Codes of Ethics drawn up by regulatory bodies. We are bound by strict rules on confidentiality. I always explain to people how confidentiality works before counselling actually starts.
